rtg41 (rtg41) asked a question.

Windows RRAS & OKTA?

I am looking to implement MFA for external access.

Currently VPN is done by Windows Server RRAS,

Is there any way of introducing OKTA so the user receives a push notification when connecting?

Many thanks in advance

    Hi Andrew,

    Flaviu from Okta support here!

Based on your needs you have the following options since I am not sure to what you would like to connect through MFA:

    1. If you would like for your users to have MFA when connecting to the VPN, you can use a Radius app that uses an Agent upon the server along with an app in Okta to have a connection between the Radius Agent on the server and your Okta tenant.
    2. If you would like to have MFA when your users will try to access the server, or domain joined machines, you can use RDP (Remote Desktop Provider).
