We are an HR mastered organization without an on-prem AD utilizing Office 365. End users managers are not being updated when the update occurs in HR. The sync from HR down to Okta is working but the Okta to Office 365 sync does not update the attribute. Manual updates and setting the manager using powershell work as expected but are not automated. Is there an automatic update option that is being used by anyone?

Thank you for posting your inquiry to Okta Support Community Portal.
As far as I know, we cannot sync the Manager attribute from Okta mastered users to O365. From my understanding, the manager attribute can be synced to O365 only when an AD integration is involved, and the only workaround is to use Powershell commands.
