'Password requirement were not met': self-service reset password for AD-Mastered users

Anyone experiencing this issues even all the configurations are configured.

  1. Added the service account as an Domain Admin
  2. Create policy and rule under Authentication - Password - Create policy and rule allowing the users to change password and self-service

But still, I encountered this issue.

  1. Image is not available

Thanks!

The password requirements that you set for your AD-mastered users in Okta, which are typically found in the Active Directory Policy under Security -> Authentication, must meet or exceed the password requirements in your Active Directory domain.

For instance, if your password policy in Okta requires that passwords must be at least 8 characters in length but the password policy in your Active Directory domain requires at least 10 characters, then even if a user provides a new password that appears to meet the standards that Okta is displaying, the password change in Active Directory will fail.
