O365 Integration

Hi,

Using OKTA trial version. Added O365 application and Configure Office 365 WS-Federation successfully. User exist only in Azure AD. There is no on-premises Active Directory. Objective is to test OKTA SSO functionality. Login into O365 portal redirected to OKTA login page, however its not accepting credential. How can I test SSO being Azure AD act as a IDP and SP as well.

Single sign-on requires a user account on both sides of the transaction. You stated that the user exists only in Azure AD. You need to import that user from Azure into your O365 integration in Okta, set a password on the account in Okta, and then you should be able to log into Okta and O365 with that account.

    Hi Shareef,

I tried to add O365 application and configure Office 365 WS-Federation but without success. Can you please tell me which credentials did you use ("Microsoft 365 API Admin username). I mean how this username should look like ? like xxx@xxxxx. onmicrosoft.com ? . But accoding the documentation, it should be an Okta Admin username.

    Thanks and best

    Mohammed
