DaleF.09022 (Grow Financial Federal Credit Union) asked a question.

Can I copy an existing Application?

We have a few apps that users need to login with different accounts(ID's). DocuSign is one where they will have multiple ID's. Is there an easy way to copy or duplicate an app that is already setup? I could just then rename it DocuSign-A, or -B, and the user enters the credentials unique to that site. Anyone else ran across the need to have multiple versions of the same app?

    Hi Dale,

I generally use API in Postman to get app and then use the same output and update whatever you want and then use another API to create APP in Okta.

There is no feature from Okta GUI to just create Duplicate app which sucks. You have to use Okta API. How about creating an Idea on Okta Portal because this is really good suggestion and most of users would love it

I can do that, but it looks like they already have a long list of ideas that are not being worked on.

    thanks
