Okta integration with Azure AD ( AD1 where application hosted) and Customer AD : AD2 where users Identitu resides

Hi Team,

Need support documents in configuring the below setup

1) Azure hosting Web application SDK ( Azure instance) , with Azure AD(AD :1) for development users

2) Customer AD (AD:2) where the user identity resides.

Scenario: customer access the hosted Web application in Azure and has to get authenticated via Okta as an identity access managent solution.

Note : customer AD is already integrated wit other Vendors like ServiceNow via OKTA

We are unsure, what we should configure at Azure instance end to enable this communication with okta for authentication, since we have two Active directory s in our setup am not sure do we need to enable trust between them?

Please support thanks

    Hi CISCO@123 A

Thanks for sharing your issue here.

    Please respond questions below:

    • Is your application using user and password for authentication?
    • Is your application using some modern authentication protocol? i.e. SAML, OAuth, OIDC, etc.

Looking forward to hearing back from you with updates.
