MoizR.37697 (Customer) asked a question.

REST API authentication when using SAML

Hi All,

I have a REST API and I want to provide SSO using SAML. The reason I want to use SAML is that my web app is also secured using SAML. How can I make this work?

From looking around one idea that seemed to go around is that the identity provider (okta) have a way to obtain a SAML assertion which could then be passed on to the service provider (my app). Is that viable?

Thanks in advance.
