From okta when we send out an email to user for forgot password or unlock account, and user does a passowrd reset or unlocks account . can we redirect the users back to my application.

I too have the same concern. How can we customize the redirectUrl, so that after resetting the password user will be redirected to my application.
Yeah my end user ends up going to some Okta dashboard... its a bad user experience
User could be redirected to a custom URI by appending fromURI parameter to the forgot password / unlock account link in the email template.
eg:
https://xyz.okta.com/settings/<resetPasswordLink/Placeholder>?fromURI=https://app.xyz.com
