My Dear OKTA People,
I am new at this platform as well as with OKTA. We are working on a project with the following scenario and wondering if you guys could suggest how to proceed on this.
Scenario:
We have few vendor apps which does not support SAML. Currently we are using a python-based desktop application to single sign on (username/password) on those application. This python tool
collects the username/password from a database application where certain group of people will have same username/password. For example, all users from city A will use username of "username_A" and password of "Password123" whereas all users from City B will use a common username of "username_B" and password of "Password568".
As we dont have SAML or any other way of doing SSO in OKTA for these application, I think SWA is the way to go. My concern is how do we achieve this group based username and password for a SWA application. I see SWA provides quite a few options for setting up username and password but not sure we can do anything like group based username/password for a SWA application.
