How to send admin alerts to a system account?

It seems that alerts can only be sent to admins. And admins only have one email address. So how can I ensure that email alerts get sent to my operations team's distribution list?

I can't use local forwarding because I can't distinguish between emails from the preview environment vs production. (and by the way, the 'from' email address should be no-reply@<tenant>.okta.com)

I don't want to setup up a dummy account because I don't want it to be an actual admin account.

Are there any other options?

For the record, I did not select the answer below as the 'best' answer. It doesn't answer my question at all.

Even if you set up a DL, there is no way in Okta, that I can find, to send the alerts to that DL.

  • y5wrc (y5wrc)

If you have AD, try making a distribution group email and use that email address so it can distribute to your admins.
