p8n7h (p8n7h) asked a question.

Agentless DSSO Works with Edge Browser

We just enabled Agentless Desktop SSO within our org. The documentation however states that the below browser is not supported:

Edge

(Neither is Firefox, but FF has always been SSO agnostic so that is a non-issue here)

However, I am using Edge and I in fact, DO get and see the Agentless DSSO goodness. This must be because:

  • We added the required okta-tenant Kerberos-based domain URL to Local Intranet sites in Internet Options in Control Panel (https://<orgname>.kerberos.okta.com)
  • WIA in Internet Options>Advanced is Enabled (it is by default)
  • Cookies are Allowed in Security settings in internet Options in Control Panel (this setting is also default/no reconfig necessary)

So I see this activity in Edge now, which is how Agentless DSSO looks. This is awesome.

Just thought I'd provide this info.
