Okta Ldap interface Activation and how does it work when AD is already integrated with delegated authentication
Hi,
I have followed the steps given in Okta documentation to check if Okta LDAP interface is active in my Okta tenant. I do not see any option. Kindly confirm if need to contacrt Okta support to get it activated.
Also, my Okta tenant is already integrated with Active directory with delegated authentication and IWA is also installed in environment.
Can LDAP interface provide Okta authentication and MFA for my environment? As per Okta documentation it has certain limitations.
We have a web service that wants to query Okta for user authentication and MFA.
Hi Gurpreet,
I'm not aware of any activation that needs to be performed on our end in order to see the Add LDAP Interface or Add LDAP Directory options, so I recommend creating a case with our support team so they can help examine why they are not present.
We don't currently have an LDAP feature equivalent to the Desktop SSO capability that works with Active Directory, but MFA is available regardless of which directory the user account was imported from.
