Org2Org Custom Attributes

I am working on a profile mastering from 1 org to another org. But the attribute I need to use is employeeNumber but in my user profile the attribute is custom named eid or enterpriseID. That is not an option in the org to org provisioning choice, is there a way to add the attribute or extend the okta org2org schema to add the attribute as a choice that I can choose. Or will I have to add the EID to the employee number field in the Hub

  • Hi David,

You can make a custom attribute by adding it on both Orgs and then mapping it.

You can do this by fallowing this steps :

    1. On your Okta Admin Console, navigate to Directory > Profile Editor
    2. Click on the Profile button next to Okta which is the topmost option in the list.
    3. Click on Add Attribute Button
    4. Define your attribute with the appropriate Data Type and Variable name
    5. Click on Save
