We currently use another MFA solution for our MFA to VPN and other systems we expose for our users and clients. With this solution, we use both the mobile app on iOS and Android devices and a Windows soft token application on our laptops. Both are additionally protected by another PIN to be able to open them to get the code. The Windows soft token application is very helpful when people are home or elsewhere and their phone is not immediately next to them and our users love it due to the ability to use either soft token for authentication.
I'd like to see what others think of this, if they believe it would be helpful and officially request that Okta develop an Okta Verify soft token application for Windows that functions in the same way or similarly to what I've described above.

I like the idea, but I do think the security concerns with a soft token being accessible on the user's machine may prevent it from being used in our specific environment.
