Hi! It seems like there is something wrong with LDAP queries against memberOf where the server returns that a user isn't in a group when they are actually assigned to that group.

Thank you for posting your question in the community forum. We generally see this issue when the group object filter is not set up correctly. I would also recommend checking if the Group Search Base includes the group in question. If you still have the issue, kindly open a case with Okta support as they will be able to go through the settings with you and assist.
