JordanN.19867 (Customer) asked a question.

Any way to force an AD Import with Powershell

We have Okta setup to import from our local AD and sync attributes out to Office 365. When I terminate a user I want to sync out a few attributes I have mapped like Hide from Address List, Security Groups, etc. and then disable their account. If I disable the account the attributes do not update so I have to:

  • Update attributes in local AD
  • Sync to Okta
  • Disable account in AD
  • Sync to Okta again

Is there any way to force an incremental import from my AD Directory setup using Powershell or something so I can add the commands to my scripts I use to disable and terminate the user accounts?
