Encounter E0000130 error when verifying domain ownership

Hi,

I tried to setup the custom URL domain following the documentation here (https://developer.okta.com/docs/guides/custom-url-domain/overview/), and I wasn't able to verify the domain ownership. The host and its Okta generated data can be found correctly with Dig tool, yet I got the error E0000130 with the error message "domain: Your organization already has a custom domain assigned to it." when Verifying it in the DNS Record step.

Has anyone seen the same issue? Please help.

  • Thank you for posting your question on the Okta Community. I could see the error message that you posted on the case 00632410 and I have requested the engineer working on your ticket to assist you with toggling the feature off and back on on our end to clear all the cached information. You will need to reconfigure the custom domain in Okta by following the setup process and then you should be good.

    Hi Molly, I have not seen anyone reported the same issue or experienced the same problem in this discussion board. I've submitted a case support for it (Case number #00632410), but was hoping that I could get an answer from one of the experts in this forum.
