sbyzi (sbyzi) asked a question.
Good morning, I have a problem with blocking users. Today I use the Gsuite platform integrated with my Active directory through Okta, the problem I am having is precisely when I want to disable these users, in many cases it is necessary to add this user as an alias of another user, but when we do this the okta apparently suspends the account when we removed it from AD and google, in turn, blocks the user who received this alias, apparently by okta suspend this account instead of deleting it! How can I do to, when I delete the Active Directory user from Okta remove the user and not suspend it?

Hi Fabricio,
Thank you for posting your inquiry to Okta Support Community Portal.
After checking the G Suite documentation, it seems that the suspend state is the equivalent to the deactivated state (inactive) for a user.
Based on our documentation, Okta will deactivate a user's G Suite account when the user is deactivated in Okta ( or removed from the GSuite Application in Okta), however, since the deletion is a destructive operation that removes all emails, documents, pages, etc created by this user, Okta will only set the status to inactive state, and the user account will not be deleted.
If you would like for this account to be deleted in G Suite, you will need to manually delete it.
For more details regarding pushing the deactivation of a user in GSuite, please check our G Suite Provisioning article:
