so2yj (so2yj) asked a question.
We currently are using Office 365 Universal Sync, and have the need to sync WIndows 10 systems to Azure AD.
Is it possible to use Azure AD Connect with filtering to sync Windows 10 systems without causing issues with OKTA provisioning?

Thanks for your question, Jonathan! Any Community experts out there who can help?
Hello Jonathan,
Thank you for posting your community question. We should be able to sync Windows 10 machine to Azure AD. However, we will have to understand how the Azure AD is currently set up, to give a informed decision. Kindly open a case with Okta support and an Engineer will assist you.
Thank you.
We are in the same situation. I opened a case in March and did not get very far. Case# 00572255
I would love to know this as well. If Azure AD connect can sync computer objects without causing issues like deleting other objects. I need this for setting up Intune with Hybrid Azure AD join via group policy. Otherwise I might have to make the drastic change to AD connect for everything not just computer objects.
Anyone got news here ? Would be also interesting for me. Thanks!
I've continued research into this off and on. I have found nothing to indicate that Universal Sync and ADD Connect can co-exist. I'm attempting to re-engage Okta for a solution even if it means switching from Universal Sync to AAD Connect because as Microsoft releases new features for Intune many of them have a pre-requisite of AAD Hybrid or Sync Join. This is becoming a great hindrance to some initiatives.
