Hi,
After a user is created and activated, if I use /api/v1/users/{oktaId} api to update email and login, it would go ahead commit the change without triggering the verification email. Is there an API I can call to trigger the verification email and commit only after users confirmed in the email?

Unfortunately, I don't believe this functionality is built into Okta. This would require a custom solution. You can also submit a feature request right here in the Okta Help Center by going to the Ideas section.
