emvu7 (emvu7) asked a question.

Google Chrome and multi-authentication

I let Google Chrome "remember" my passwords. When I log into okta via Chrome using multi-authentication, Chrome remembers my password but after okta prompts me for my security question, Chrome always asks me if I want to update my saved password, regardless of how many times I tell it yes. Is this an issue with multi-authentication? Is there a way around it?

  • Terrence here with Okta's Support Team, this is not an issue with multi-authentication. The web browser regulates the saved password setting. You may need to clear your cache or even perform a computer cleanup.
