Custom URL Domain with browser plugin

Our organization would very much like to use the "Custom URL Domain" feature as described at https://help.okta.com/en/prod/Content/Topics/Settings/custom-url-domain.htm. For example, okta.example.org instead of example.okta.com. Unfortunately this is not compatible with the Okta browser plugin, as called out in the above doc's caveats:

  •  Custom URL Domains are not supported for use with the Okta Secure Web Authentication browser plugin.

 

Surely others are in the same situation. Is browser plugin support for custom url domains on the roadmap?

    Thanks, Daniel. Good to know I'm not alone. I have shared this with our Premier Plus Customer Success Manager to advocate internally.

    Custom domain URL is in production from May 13 and Okta version 2019.05.0 but no any new information about its support by Okta own browser plugins.

     

    Looks like one development team in Okta doesn't know what other teams are working on.

    There is a small update from Okta support:

     

    "I received some information on this from my colleagues. It’ll require a lot of re-architecture of the plugin and some time. They are expecting to roll this out on early Q4, meaning December-January."
