    Hey Sherri,

You should be able to resend the activation email from the Admin Console > Directory > People > User Profile. You should see an option at the top of the individuals profile that says "Resend Activation Email"

    Selected as Best

We typically have a number of users that need to have their activation email resent.  How is this accomplished with the powershell cmdlets (preferred) or the REST API?

Hey John, I have this same question about how to best accomplish this with the API. Were you able to get an answer or solution?

Uhhh....my "Resend Activation Email" is missing??

In my experience, you have to have a certain Admin in order to be able to see the "Resend Activation Email" button. Help Desk Admins will not see this, but Group Admin and Super Admins can as those are the only two Admins I have had the opportunity to test.

  • The API call - {{url}}/api/v1/users/{{userID}}/lifecycle/reactivate?sendEmail=true will allow you to "resend activation email" from the API / in bulk thru Postman Runner for Pending Action users, who have not yet fully setup their accounts.
