Error LDAP Directory Agent Import

I have a developer Org and I want to prototype our LDAP/Integration Solution. Trying to sync users with LDAP agent, gives me an error every time. THe logs don't seem to show any error? How can I triage the LDAP import process?

  • Hi,

My name is Silviu and I am a Technical Support Engineer (Tier II) at Okta.

The error should be stored somewhere, either in logs on your Win / Linux env. for LDAP or hitting our server endpoint directly and appearing in SysLog or in our internal logging tool. While you haven't found that error I cannot give an accurate solution to your issue, but if it's about RTS it might just be about a connection error of the tenant to the LDAP Agent, not responding to status checks.

For any further assistance please open up a case with Okta Support and get all the necessary pieces of information, if not provided yet.

Wish you all the best in your work, Matthew!

    Thank You,

If you're referring tot he Okta AD agent, i believe you can go to the host for that agent and then it should be:

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Okta\Okta AD Agent\logs

The file you would reference is Agent.txt and when it gets to about 5MB it archives and creates a new file.
