    This error is thrown if duplicate entries for either users or groups have been imported and one of them needs to be removed from the source.

    Please open up a support case with us to further investigated this issue.

    Is there anyway of finding out who this duplicate user is through Okta?

      Hi,

      I have CC'ed in my colleague Pieter who is looking at this.

      Unfortunately, there are no logs in Okta to state why this is failing, this was working fine before, but now it is not.

    Adam I had a similar issue and found out that we indeed did have duplicate users. Yes its right that from the logs you cant find it but Okta support found the user for me.

    I would also suggest if you do not have too many users, extract the users using api (just user id) and paste in Excel and find any duplicate entries.​
