Hello - Is there a way to have the OKTA SWA Plugin to work with IE Tab Chrome Extension? The plugin works fine without the plugin, since the actual URL is in the address bar. However ,with IE Tab, the extension modifies the URL to something like chomeextension:dxdsdfsd*url=https://www.okta.com, so the SWA plugin doesn't recognize this as a valid URL.

Thanks for posting on our community! My name is Dragos and I'm an Engineer here at Okta.
We value our customers as well as every piece of technology that they're using.
Therefore, if your final destination in regards to this, will be to have the Okta SWA Plugin for IE, you can navigate to your Admin Console View and Click on Settings then Downloads. You can then scroll down and find yourself the IE Okta SWA plugin.
If you want to silently push this to the employee's machines, I will strongly advise you to do this through GPO's, furthermore, following the steps from here: https://help.okta.com/en/prod/Content/Topics/Apps/Apps_Silently_Installing_the_Browser_Plugin.htm, by expanding the IE section.

Hi Dargos - thanks for the response. I understand that the SWA plugin for IE is available, however, I'd like to understand if there is a way for the chrome version of the plugin to work in Chrome with the IE Tab extension. Is that possible?

I see what you meant by this request. I have not managed to reproduce the functionality and I've quickly confirmed internally that this is currently not supported.
What I would like to encourage you, is to raise this as a Feature Request on our Community, by using the "Suggest a feature" option at the bottom right hand side of your Okta admin dashboard, or by logging in to your Okta Admin Panel -> Help and Training -> Community -> Ideas -> Submit an Idea. Features suggested in our community are reviewed and can be voted and commented on by other members of the community, therefore making it much easier for the engineering team to understand the priorities that you have for feature requests and if it’s not a service provider limitation we can begin working on integration the requested feature.
