Can you expand and clarify your question?

When a user has an account in Okta, they will have an Okta username. The Okta username must be used to login to Okta.

An Okta user will be assigned apps. Each app the user is assigned will give the user an app profile, which will include the username for the app. The app username can be different than the Okta username. You can make it the same as the Okta username, it can be the email address, or even an employee ID. However, the app username configured in Okta must typically match the username set on the service provider side. So if the service provider uses the email address, that's what you should configure in Okta.

If this doesn't answer your question, can you expand on your description of the scenario and what your objectives are?
