feok4 (feok4) asked a question.
Hi all - has anyone seen 'Unhealthy Identity synchronization Notification' emails coming from Microsoft over the past few weeks? We started seeing these messages in mid-December for some of our orgs but are now seeing them for all of our orgs, including sandbox and new orgs. We manage ~14 Okta orgs and O365 tenants. I have a case open with Okta - just wondering if anyone else is seeing this behavior.

Hi Jeff,
Sergiu from Okta here. This has been caused due to a change in Microsoft DirSync protocol endpoint which Okta leverages for user provisioning. The complete RCA can be found here :

Hi Sergiu, is there further work being done to address the ongoing unhealthy identity synchronization state and accompanying notifications? It sounds from the RCA that you're treating this issue as resolved. This is an ongoing issue for us with daily notifications that identity synchronization is unhealthy.
We are having the same notifications. on multiple tenants, at least 7 of our customers. i would like to discuss this further.
Hi all - I did open a case with Okta and was told engineering was looking into it. However, we did see the notification clear up for all tenants except for two (we manage 14). I believe we experienced 3-4 weeks of these notifications and i'm curious if you're experiencing similar behavior.
We only have a single tenant, but these notifications began on 12/11/18 and are ongoing. I'll open a ticket with Okta support as well to ensure they're aware of this issue and are prioritizing appropriately. Thanks for posting here; I'm glad to know we're not alone in seeing this.
As an FYI, we began noticing one of the tenants barking again that we had unhealthy synchronization.
Last night we received 3 notifications again. 23:51 GMT and 2 from 01:08 GMT. for 3 different organisations.
