Hello John,

This is a great question and it's very straight forward, firstly you'll want to head over to 'Directory Integrations' within your 'Directories' tab in your Okta admin portal.

Once in here, select the Active Directory you'd like to sync/import from, in this page, you'll see a tab called 'Import', head on into that tab and click 'Import now'. You can select incremental or full, either will bring in the user as long as said user exists within a OU synced with Okta. Which you can confirm by double checking the 'Settings' tab for said Active Directory.

Once you've run the import, the user will appear and you can them continue to confirm their assignments.
