Sorry for the terse original question but I keep getting an error about finding HTML in my question, but basically we want to use OKTA to RDP into an AWS Workspace, but using username/password that is in our own ldap. Is that possible?

I have an OKTA trial, and as admin, I have assigned "AWS Workspace" to both myself and a group which I made, but when I got to "regular" (non-admin) OKTA, and try to add the app, I cannot find the app anywhere. Is there something else that I need to make the AWS Workspace app available?

I also noted that under "Security" there is a choice for "Providers", i.e., I can setup an IDP. We also do run Oracle OIF, which is Oracle's federation product, so, if it is not possible to directly log into the AWS Workspace using OKTA and our own LDAP credentials, can we setup an IDP in OKTA where the IDP is our Oracle OIF IDP?

As long as you have LDAP integrated with OKta and you are using Delegated Authentication, and AWS is expecting you to provide LDAP credential, sure you can.

I have been trying to setup the AWS Workspaces on my OKTA trial account. I think that I have setup the application and also myself as a user and then assigned the app to my user.

However, when I try to log into OKTA as myself as non-admin, I don't see the AWS Workspaces application anywhere.

I am really new to working with OKTA, but what else do I need to do to make the AWS Workspaces app available to my user in OKTA?

    Thanks,

    Jim
