    Hi Steve, our support provided this info, let us know if it works:

     

    If your users are AD (Active Directory) mastered and the source of truth is AD, yes, you would want to unlock your users from AD when they're locked out. Alternatively, you could allow the users account to become unlocked after a set amount of time or you can also enable a self-service user unlock capability under the password policy. This is done under your Okta admin portal Security > Authentication > Password, select an AD policy.
