Hi, I have a custom (picklist) attribute for Employee, Customer & Partner. I also have three groups of same. How can I update each group with their required value. Do I need to do an upload to each user to set the attribute value, or can i write a rule that applies the correct value based on the group (current and create). Thanks

Hi Martin,
This is Bogdan.
From what I read in your question, if you are refering to Group Rules based on attributes, you can always create those 3 attributes and 3 Groups and create 3 Rules based on those 3 attributes for users to be assigned to groups accordingly.
If you are refering to SAML assertions based on attribute coming from each group separately, please submit a ticket as this depends on more details and a lot of clarifications are needed to understand the usecase and what you are trying to achieve.
Thank You,

Hi Bogdan, Thanks for responding. I don't think I explained the question well enough.
My example is. I already have a Customer Group with Users associated to that group. I have created a new Custom Attribute (Picklist - 3 values) in the main profile. How can I easily update each user record with this new attribute (Picklist value = Customer) to all the existing users in the Customer Group? Then Same for Employee and Partner.
Can I use a Rule or do I need to update each user by upload?
Thanks
Martin
