I have a request for any Workday pending tasks to show on the Okta dashboard. I think I can use the APIs in Workday to extract the info, is there a way to use Okta APIs to leverage the message feature?

Currently there is no function in the API that will allow fetching tasks from Workday and display them under the Okta Dashboard. You can perhaps ask for this feature to be included in future Okta Releases by submitting an idea on the Okta help page.
