SLO is not working

Hi Okta Team,

 

 

 

I am facing an issue with SLO where I logout from one application but it doesn’t logout from my second application automatically. I logged in to both the applications using SAML SSO

I wrote an email earlier to Component Space describing the same issue, but they said there is some problem with Okta, here is the text of their email, 

 

"

 

1.SP logs user out.

 

2.SP sends a SAML logout request to IdP.

 

3. IdP logs user out.

 

4. IdP sends a logout request to 2nd SP.

 

5. 2nd SP logs user out.

 

6. 2nd SP sends a logout response to IdP.

 

7. IdP sends logout response to SP.

 

 

 

If you’re not being logged out from the 2nd SP it sounds like an issue with Okta not performing steps 4 through 6.

For your reference I have followed all the steps they mentioned. Please help on urgent basis.

  • Hi Mark,

     

    The SLO feature will log you out only from that particular application where the SLO is pointing to, along with the IDP. It will not log you out from the other apps that you had opened.
