I would like to configure Okta for MFA for the purpose of logging into Okta. I've looked at the documentation on this but find it a bit vague. I've enabled MFA but find it is inconsistent with respect to when it asks for a second factor. e.g MFA is required to reveal a password for an application but not to initially log in. I want to require MFA for all users logging into Okta on the first login each day.

My name is TeDeryl here with Okta Support. MFA for access into Okta must be set as a policy under Security>Authentication>Sign On in the admin console. Once there a policy is created and enforced using the settings configured.
