Okta Verify Question

I am a new user with Okta Verify. I was just asked a question "What if I lose my phone, how will I be able to use Okta verify?". I know with other 2 factor authentication programs like RSA you can assign an emergency token number that you can give to the user to use temporarily. Does Okta have something similar? Thank you for your help!

  • HI Chris,

There is no emergency token number that can be given to the user but the user can call the administrator and he or she has the possibility to reset the MFA. Also you as administrator have the possibility to set up verification also trough a land line or a security question as a second factor
