TravisM.24803 (Customer) asked a question.

Has anyone successfully gotten AWS CLI/Okta integration implemented?

I am at my wits end with this integration. Why is the documentation so vague and confusing? What is the benefit of the integration if I still need IAM access keys? I thought the whole idea was to generate temp keys for a user via STS once they login via Okta. I cannot find one clear tutorial for how to complete this integration.

Is there any update regarding this question?

I am about to start the same process, having read the documentation i have to agree with you that it is confusing.

  • Hello,

I can confirm that the AWS CLI and Okta integration has been successful for multiple Okta orgs.

Below I will attach an article regarding how this can be done:

Should this not suffice, please proceed with opening a support ticket with us.

    Thank you.
