Maintaining Google Group Attributes during provisioning
We are attempting to fully automate the provisioning of our Groups from AD to Okta and then to GOOGLE APPS.  One issue we are running into is in setting up the initial mapping for GOOGLE GROUPS that already exist in AD.  Our understanding is that In order to set up mapping have a successful GROUP PUSH the GROUP cannot exist prior to the initial push therefore we have to delete the GROUP.  Unfortunately if we do that the customized GROUP Attributes within the PROFILE i.e. who can post etc... are lost.  Does anyone have an automated way of saving and restoring the custom attributes?

The only real option to avoid manual reconfiguration is Google Apps Manager (GAM (https://github.com/jay0lee/GAM/wiki)).  It's a little fiddly to configure the authentication, but when you get it running it's enormously powerful for reporting, syncing systems, etc.

Thanks your response and will look at GAM again... I am close to giving up on Okta's integration with GOOGLE all together and going with GADS/GAM for our integration and management. Tired of fighting the fight!
