SailPoint Okta integration- Firewall changes
Hi Team, 

 

We are currently integrating SailPoint (SP) with Okta (IdP) for only SSO. As part of this process, I would like to know if there are any network requirements in terms of ports, IP or if firewall changes are expected since SailPoint servers are hosted in our internal on-premise Vault. 

 

I know for a fact that SAML 2.0 communications happens through user's browser and there is no direct communication between SP and IdP.

    Hi Ramanan Hariharan,

     

    As long as you are connected to your network and your browser is able to post the SAML token on to your SailPoint ACS url it should work fine. We recently implemented and it worked for us.
