- Okta Secure Web Authentication Plug-in (extension ID "glnpjglilkicbckjpbgcfkogebgllemb") is blocked by the administrator.
When applying the policy to a machine that does NOT have the plugin installed, the plugin does not install. The policy is applying correctly (it is listed in gpresult as successfully applied.) And it is clearly affecting chrome's extension list - just... in the opposite of the desired way. Any ideas as to what I should try next? Also, in the chrome documentation here: https://support.google.com/chrome/a/answer/188453?hl=enI noticed under the master_preferences install instructions this bit "If you don't include a granted_permissions section, Chrome immediately disables the extension." I wasn't sure if that relates because I'm installing via Group Policy and not the master_preferences file, but I just noted that that describes a very similar problem to the one I am having. Thank you!-Karl
