Okta Plungin problem with Firefox 48.0
After updating to Firefox 48.0 Okta reports that the plugin must be installed to work with apps even though the plugin is already installed an working. The apps that report the plugin must be installed do work and login to their service just fine so this looks like it's just Okta just isn't able to tell that the plungin is installed.

Has anyone else seen this and ist there a way to fix it?

    Ryan,

My Help Desk team reported the same thing to me this morning and I observed the behavior after updating to FF version 48. Hopefully the plugin just needs to be updated.

I have the same issue and reported it to my Help Desk.  They were not able to solve it and noted that they will reach oout to Okta as wekk to report the issue.
  • Hi Ryan,

We are aware of this problem and have traced the root cause of this issue to the update of Firefox from 47 to 48. We have begun to work on a fix and you can track the progress of this issue (OKTA-92542) by checking the release notes here (https://support.okta.com/help/articles/Knowledge_Article/Okta-Preview-Sandbox-Release-2016-31) or by going to https://support.okta.com/help/SearchAnnouncement.

    Best regards,

It seems like this issue may be occuring with Firefox version 50 - is this a known issue? We've had two users report the problem to us this week.

Same issue with 51 but not 52. Maybe Firefox needing to update was the issue.

I'm having same issue with 51.0.1 and beta version 52.0b4. Also, Okta plugin is installed but does not show apps and says that I need to be signed in to the Okta website though I am already signed in to our Okta portal.
