Can Okta move an AD user into different OU ?
Hello,

 

We are using Workday as profile mastered in our organization. Workday provide users in Okta, and then Okta create those users into an Active Directory in the Organizational Unit that we want. But now, we want Okta to move an Active Directory user he created into a different OU. Is that possible ?

    We have the same need and were told by Okta professional services that the only solution for moving a user to a new OU is to do it outside of Okta, e.g. a PowerShell script periodically running on a management server (or simply put them in the desired OU upon provisioning from Okta to AD... but in our case the criteria for determining their OU was too complicated for Okta to do it "natively").

    We run a script that periodically takes the accounts and puts them into the various OUs.
