    The System Log data is maintained for 90 days and Service backup data is automatically purged six months after it is first generated.

  • It is strongly suggested that you integrate with a SIEM, like Splunk, for archival purposes.  

     

    Okta also provides an API endpoint to pull the system logs from Okta into your own system(s).

    Customer authentication logs are retained for 6 months in Okta. As James says if a customer requires a longer retention period, they must run their own SIEM.
