Adobe Creative Cloud Provisioning
We have an Adobe Enterprise account for Creative Cloud. There are 2 separate Adobe applications, one for SAML login with Adobe Enterprise and one that is SWA based with provisioning for Adobe Creative Cloud. In order to enable provisioning on the app it asks for the `Auth Src Code` which appears to be an API key. I can't find where this API key can be found though. I've contacted Adobe support and Okta support, both don't have any documentation on where to find this.

I created an Adobe App with access to the user management API but the key it provides returns incorrect when I test the key in the Okta app.

Anyone else able to successfully setup provisioning with Adobe?

  • Hi, Travis. Provisioning is not currently supported between Okta and Adobe Creative Cloud. The Adobe Creative Cloud app in the Okta Application Network is currently deprecated. We are working with Adobe on a resolution.

In the meantime, our recommendation is to create a SAML app with the Okta App Integration Wizard and connect it to Adobe. This wil enable federated authentication with Adobe Creative Cloud. However, provisioning is not supported.

Thank you this answers my question. I was able to successfully setup a SAML connection (without provisioning) to our Adobe account. I look forward to provisioning being available at a later date.

Is there any update on the provisioning side? I've just succesfully implemented SSO and would like to take the next step.

I would like an update on this as well. Auto provisioning and de-provisioning would be very useful. Is it in the works?

Jerry- sorry for the delay I've asked to see if our support team can jump in with some insight

  • Hi Thomas, Dana, Jerry,

I've checked our roadmap and had a look through internal tickets that our Apps Team is currently looking at, but could find nothing on the topic of Provisioning for any Adobe application. I also looked at the Ideas section of the Community page, but could find no such requests submitted.

I recommend filing a Feature Request for this functionality to be added to Okta down the line. This can be done on the Okta Community page by using the 'Feedback' option at the bottom of the Okta admin console, once on the Community page go to Ideas -> Post Idea.
