How can I enable (verbose) logging for OktaSsoIwa.exe?
How can I enable detailed logging for OktaSsolwa.exe ? 

My situation is as follows: Trying to set up Desktop SSO and stuck between steps 10 and 11 of the following instructions: "https://help.okta.com/en/prod/Content/Topics/Directory/Configuring_Desktop_SSO.htm#ConfigSSO > Install the Okta IWA Web App"

After I enter the okta service account password, login to okta with the okta admin account, Allow access to okta api - get an errror  "Okta SSO Integrated Windows Authentication Web Application> OAuth error" followed by "Okta SSO Integrated Windows Authentication Web Application> Failed to store Desktop SSO configuration in the Okta service".

    Okta Desktop SSO agent does not offer verbose logs for the installation process. Please open a support case with us so that we can further investigate what would be the cause of this issue.

    Hi Ajay,

     

    While installing SSO IWA today, I had the same error. After I successfully authenticate and allow access, installation continues for a short while then displays an error message “OAuth Error”.

     

    I wonder if you or Okta Support managed to come up with a solution?

     

    I would be grateful if you could let me know.

    My suggestion is to create a okta admin account to use for the IWA install, Delete the agent in Okta, delete the configuration files/agent on windows (go back to a clean state that existed prior to installation) and then try again.

    Okta uses tls1.2 - check if the windows o/s version supports the Tls version or registry updates are needed.
