WebEx - Error provisioning due to password criteria
Hello,

We have Cisco WebEx configured for use with Okta.  We have Okta's Provisioning enabled.  Everything has been working great.  However, on one particular user, we received an unexpected error.

An error occurred while assigning this app:

Automatic provisioning of user to app WebEx (Cisco) failed:  The password doesn't meet site password critieria.  Password cannnot contain any character repeatered 3 times or more.

We do NOT have Password Sync enabled.

We are were surpised to find out that our Active Directory passwords were being retrieved from AD and Passed down to WebEx.

Can anyone shed some light on this?

Thanks in advance!

Update:  Performed a retry on this user from the Task section of Okta.  It appears the WebEx account was provisioned this time.  Something caused it to error and generate this message the first time, but we have no idea as we made no changes.

You can look under the Tasks menu to see details about provisioning errors.

Yes that is where we identified we had an issue. We are were surpised to find out that our Active Directory passwords were being retrieved from AD and Passed down to WebEx. We are wondering if this is really the case.
