  • Hey All

Unfortunately, our feature flags are for internal use only. Even if Support were in a position to provide a list of feature flags, these flags are in a format that's not intuitive to anyone outside of Okta to decipher. The best approach is to watch/subscribe/follow our release notes or ask Support or an account representative if a particular feature you're interested in has been enabled for your account.

    Hi Tom,

Internally, Okta uses flags to control the rollout of features both for beta management and general availabilty rollouts. The rollout of those features are all documented in our release notes which are available here: https://support.okta.com/help/articles/Knowledge_Article/Current-Release-Status. Additionally, all our features are documented by release here: https://support.okta.com/help/articles/Knowledge_Article/Features-by-Release.

Unless you've been working in our beta or EA programs, you'll have the features that have become generally available. If you have futher questions specific to your org, please contact your support representative.

    Thanks,

    Wils

Thanks, So what you are saying is I need to go read all the features and then search through my org to see if in fact that all features have been enabled?

I have ran into situations where we did not have a GA feature because the flag was not enabled.

Hopefully you won't need to do that. If you have a specific feature you're interested in or concerned about, you can reach out to support and they'll be happy to help you get clarity.

To your second point, sometimes we will GA features for new orgs, but keep them off for existing orgs as part of the rollout. I believe we document when we do that.

Is there a specific feature you are interested in? Or are you trying to audit in general for a particular reason?

just trying to audit as I have missed some features in the past. I just want to make sure I have everything available to me. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Tom Hardin Sr Systems Architect w: 650-260-3767 m: 650-704-5772 thardin@rocketfuel.com ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Gotcha. I'd recommend reaching out to support. They can look over your org and see if you are missing anything, and can also speak better to features that are new that you may find interesting to try out.

    Thanks,

    Wils

This is a problem for us as well, as we had various problems with various "flags" before. We had to enable a flag for something to work, etc. It is quite annoying.
