Managing multiple email domains w/ Office 365
We currently have 5-6 different Office 365 applications in Okta, one for each of our primary email domains.  These domains are all under the same O365 tenant, so is this necessary, or can we consolidate them under a single application in Okta?  Will there be any issues with a user whose email is bob@coolcompany.com logging in under an application that is pointed to awesomecompany.com if they're both under the same tenant?

    Hi Scott,

Thank you for contacting us, my name is Alex and I will be answering this one.

The only issue possible would be with Sharepoint(will be configured for te default domain only) but nothing else. I would use multiple apps just for each domain.

Office 365 doesn't support multiple domains with a single end point for anything other than ADFS. Therefore it is not possible to have one app in your Okta org work with all the domains you might have in Office 365. Instead, you need to create an Office 365 app per domain.

    Kind regards,

    Chris,

The answer I got from Okta was that a separate O365 application is required for each domain that matches the user's UPN/email.
