Logs showing users as IE7
Hi Community,

We have been having issues with users being prompted multiple times when using Office 365. When I have had the logs checked we have been informed that the user is using IE7 - which when checking the users in question it is not the case. We checked whether the user is using compatibility mode as that is what the logs the suggested but it was not. Could it be that the Okta pop-up prompt is somehow using IE7 compatibility mode but this is not what the user is actually using?

At a bit of loss as it very unclear whether what I have been told is the truth or whether I have been been fobbed off.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,

Mike

  • Hello Mike,

The idea of the pop-up being ran in compatibility mode seems plausible, yet, might I recommend opening a support ticket with our Tech Support service?

This would allow me or one of my colleagues to properly assist you into further troubleshooting to find the exact reason of this behavior.

    Thank You,
