OpenID - custom login page
Hello,

 

I have an OpenID Web app that I created using AIW. The end user should be redirected to our custom login page to collect credentials and not to OKTA page. According to this article https://support.okta.com/help/Documentation/Knowledge_Article/Using-the-App-Integration-Wizard-1111708899#OIDCWizard , it can be done via "Initiate login URI" property in "General/Login" section. However it doesn't work - when I browse to Embed Link, I still get the OKTA login page.

Am I missing something?

    Hi Anna!

     

    This is Silviu and am a Technical Support Engineer (Tier II) at Okta.

    The redirect on OIDC Web Apps is done by the "Login redirect URIs " section. Also, you can specify more URIs there.

    If the users are getting redirected to the Okta login page, i.e. https://<domain>.okta.com/login/default and not the a Sign-In Widget then it should be just an issue regarding integrating your custom login page within the infrastructure, but the specific path needs to be checked on your side.

    I recommend you to open up a case with us to further troubleshoot what might be the cause of it.
